CHECKERED PLATES

CHECKERED PLATES

  1. disappointed about the length of time to transact with your people in Almeda, Pateros. Got directions to your warehouse but passed it since it did not mention you had a green gate and there was no signboard. Had to ask a traffic enforcer.

Guard was not at the gate so I had to knock several times and call your office. But the guard was not informed who was at the gate and had to confirm it to your office.

even when we called in advance, your staff still had to confirm the price that was already agreed on the phone. then even after paying, it took a while before an official receipt and a sort of gate pass was issued. considering I was the only customer in the warehouse at that time.

It took a while before your staff got hold of the mild steel plate and put it on the overhead crane. noticed they did not have hard hats or any safety gear. the chain holding the steel plate slipped as it was being loaded in our closed utility vehicle.

I had to fetch your guard from your office to the warehouse since she was the only one who could "check" the steel plate. She said her boss called her and had to prioritize that first. The same guard then had to walk from the warehouse all the way to the gate to again check the same steel plate loaded in our vehicle before we were allowed to leave.

The entire process took more than an hour. Again, I was the only customer at that time in the warehouse and only one mild steel plate was purchased. It was just a trial buy to see if we can transact with you in the future. Imagine if purchases were bigger than that and a few more customers were in front of me.
